The AFGE Council (TSA Council 100) is currently negotiating a third collective agreement between AFGE and the TSA in Washington, D.C. Negotiations will take place from 9 September (beginning) to 9 December (end/hour 12:00). “Today`s agreement between TSA and AFGE is an important step in our relationship with our employees and AFGE,” said TSA Administrator John S. WASHINGTON – The Transportation Security Administration (TSA) today ratified a collective agreement with the American Federation of Government Employees (AFGE). The agreement applies to approximately 44,000 TSA employees and will come into force on December 9, 2012.
The collective agreement is implemented 30 days after the day of ratification and will remain in force for a period of three years.
